Disappointed Mommy wanted cake:(
Oh darn! The Provincial Museum has free admission this weekend and free cake for those with December Birthdays! My Monkey boys birthday is December 31!!! I so wanted to take the kids there today. But we have spots. My girly has what look to me like chicken pox! She was vaccinated, but apparently her spots missed that memo. Oh well, I guess we will just have to pay to go to the museum later. I LOVE the museum! My kids fave parts are the dino and prehistoric exhibits and the Aboriginal peoples exhibit. Maybe next week. If no one else here gets spots!

I forgot to tell you how cute your daughter's words were...'pots aren't chicken! Hope no one else gets it. I'm one of four kids and we all got chicken pocks together one Christmas at home. We all missed 2 weeks of school!
I was told you still can get chicken pox although vaccinated. It's just less severe, that's all. Here's hoping no one else in your home will have it in the next few days!

My eldest son got chicken pox too although he was vaccinated but it's milder than my second son who got it before he reached one. Relax on the free admission and the free cake. It may be a blessing in disguise.
My 13 year old got chicken pox with the vaccine and it was the worst case the doctor had ever seen! He said they are probably going to reccommend booster shots.
