CC Cycle 3 Week 16 Canadian History Sentence Actions

These are the actions I am using, based mostly on ASL. The links take you to demo videos.

“Responsible government” is a government that is responsible to the representatives of the people, not to the monarch. Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland welcomed Canadian government control in the mid-1800s.



Responsible: Two flat hands tap the dominant shoulder.

Government: The G-hand makes a twisting motion at the temple.

Represent: Index finger points at the palm of the non dominant hand and moves forward.
